Racing Under the Lights in Calgary
Calgary BMX will be hosting a Saturday Night Fun Race for all on August 15th registration from 5pm to 6pm. All BMX Clubs are welcome. You can bring your trailer or tent and camp out as well. We will be having a fire pit, BBQ available, fun and games for all. Practice till dusk with night racing to follow. The track will be open at 3:00pm to set up your trailer or tent. Sunday racing will be at the regular time, registration from 12:30 to 1:30pm, racing at approx 2:15pm.
This is a great opportunity to have fun with no pressure of competition as we are on a Provincial and National break! Mark your calendars so you do not forget!
Calgary is the place to be on Saturday August 15th.

Kingston 2009 National BMX Championships
After a brief initial study of the results from Kingston here are some interesting statistics from data regarding the 20" challenge classes (non Jr. Elite or Elite riders).
For Challenge class riders in Kingston,
13 of the AB Team riders brought back 9 ‘N’ plates, 2 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals, and 0 Bronze medals meaning that of a possible 15 medals they brought back 6 (or 40%) of them.
Medals:
Gold: 3
Silver 6
Bronze: 2
Total: 11
Of a possible: 48 (16classes @ 3 medals each) or 23% of the total possible.
